This is the type of hing which is usually seen in northern parts of India from Amritsar to Madhya Pradesh They are big soap bar like pieces in semi-dry form consisting mainly of Wheat flour ( Maida) Starch ( Maize flour) and gum Arabic and percentage of hing depending upon its cost sold in, there are many varieties in it all depends upon on its rates on which it is been sold, higher the rate more the percentage of pure hing in it few of varieties are been given name by manufacturers such as "Nukra" Jawla" " surkh dana" etc. basically manufactured and market by delhi based traders.
